How to read a listing
A listing title only starts to identify an item. The remainder of its identity sits in six lines.
Six lines every listing should answer, or it is incomplete
Overpays happen with pattern items that lack a seed and with crafts that lack scrape percents. For the last line, trade safety gives the safer version.
- Name the weapon and the finish, and add StatTrak or Souvenir whenever you expect either.
- The wear name plus the float inside that wear, because a Field-Tested at 0.37 is not a Field-Tested at 0.16.
- The float cap, to confirm that the wear can exist at all. float and wear has the detail.
- For Case Hardened, Fade or Doppler finishes, the pattern seed.
- Stickers: the slots they fill, how far each is scraped, and whether the price is a craft price.
- The item in the trade offer or market hold must be the very one listed, not one that merely has a similar thumbnail.
