Affiliate disclosure

How this reference earns money from some of its links, and what that money does not change.

The short answer

Some links on CS2 Case Overview are affiliate links. If you register or deposit on a site through one of them, that site pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra for it.

An affiliate link carries a marker that tells the site you arrived from us. It can be a partner code you type in, a referral link, or a button on one of our pages. The site then pays us for the registration or the deposit it credits to us.

Where the money comes from

We earn a commission when a reader registers or deposits through our links, partner codes or referral links. We have no other income from the sites we review.

We hold a partner code or a referral link for each of the nine sites in our reviews. For DMarket and Lis-Skins we have a referral link only, with no code. None of this changes what you pay or what you get.

How you can tell

Every Play and Trade button sits next to a note that says it is an affiliate link, and the link carries the rel="sponsored" attribute. These buttons go through our own redirect pages under /go/ and then on to the partner. From that point the partner's own policy applies.

What a commission does not buy

A commission does not change a score or a place in the ranking. Scores follow fixed criteria, and every review shows the criteria and the score for each one. When two sites have the same score, the one with the higher Trustpilot rating goes first. We publish the score of every site we link to, low ones included.

A site with no affiliate program for us would still get a page and a score under the same rules.
