AWP | Fade
This covert sniper shares the short float window of the old pistol fades, so pattern percent is what divides one listing from another.
Wear ranges for AWP Fade
Float is assigned once per copy and never edited by use. Every wear name labels one stretch of that number, and a finish carries only the stretches its float limits reach. On this skin the Overlap column below is short, which matters more than the labels do.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.00 – 0.07 | Listed wear |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07 – 0.08 | Narrow slice |
Fade percent replaces the wear ladder
The Control Collection brought in AWP Fade on 3 December 2020. A float between 0.00 and 0.08 is the only kind it can have, which means Factory New is practically the whole catalog and Minimal Wear is a thin edge beyond 0.07.
Fade percent, not wear, tells copies apart. Treat it the way you would on the Glock, as a community reading of the seed and not a number Valve prints. This case finish can also be StatTrak, one more difference from the 2013 pistol fades.
For buyers, that means a listing's wear name says almost nothing here. Ask for the seed and compare percent against percent.
