AK-47 | Fire Serpent
Collectors chase the dragon art on this covert, released 19 September 2013 in the Bravo Collection. Its float cap leaves Factory New a narrow band.
Wear ranges inside 0.06 to 0.76
The float on a given copy is permanent, so a rifle that has seen hundreds of rounds still carries the number it started with. Wear labels divide that number into ranges, and this finish exists only inside the ranges its float limits allow.
| Wear | Overlap | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.06 – 0.07 | Narrow slice |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07 – 0.15 | Listed wear |
| Field-Tested | 0.15 – 0.38 | Listed wear |
| Well-Worn | 0.38 – 0.45 | Listed wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45 – 0.76 | Listed wear |
Why Factory New is so narrow
Fire Serpent floats between 0.06 and 0.76, so Factory New gets only what lies under 0.07: a window of 0.01. Minimal Wear describes most high-end listings.
Downside: the worn side is cut short as well, because Battle-Scarred ends at 0.76 and never reaches 1.00. Anyone wanting a heavily scratched copy has less range to look in.
The skin belongs to a 2013 operation case that is no longer part of the weekly drop. Collector demand sets the prices, since fresh Serpents do not arrive every week. The dragon looks identical at 0.06 and at 0.20 in a screenshot, and only the float shown on the offer separates them.
