Gamma 2 Case: a new collection, not a Gamma reprint
Gamma 2 opened on 18 August 2016 as a collection of its own, not a reprint of the June Gamma case.
Same word, separate collections
Gamma 2 opened on 18 August 2016 with a new collection, so it is no restock of the Gamma Case. Players look it up for the AK-47 Neon Revolution. Its rare slot is Gamma Doppler once more, drawn from this case's knife pool.
Gamma in the name does not merge the two cases, since each has its own trade-up table. Before buying ten input skins, read the collection listed on them.
The 0.26% question
Gold lands about 0.26% of the time in a standard weapon case. Wear decides the rest, as the odds guide lays out. Our take: a famous covert may fill red, but the gold odds never notice.
